LAKE GLENBAWN

Lake Glenbawn State Recreation Area is the largest of the Upper Hunter region’s waterways. It is located 160 kms north of Newcastle, and offers a wide range of land and water-based activities.

There are three distinct areas for visitors, and these include a caravan park, cabins and other amenities, as well as a kiosk. There is a museum of rural life that is open on Sundays and public holidays.
