The Bushmans Way
The communities along
a loop extending from Maitland through to Sandy
Hollow, Merriwa, Coolah and Coonabarabran,
and then east to Gunnedah and Tamworth, south
through Quirindi and Scone, Muswellbrook, Singleton and back
to Maitland, encourage tourists to travel this way
to enjoy spectacular countryside, and a series of
diverse and interesting tourist attractions.
They call this route
the Bushmans Way.
There is excellent accommodation
at each centre along the Bushmans Way,
many good golf courses and bowling clubs, and two
major State Recreation Areas, at Lake
Glenbawn and Lake
Keepit.
Each city and town along
the Bushmans Way has excellent facilities
